Hello World!
Welcome to Cyber-Jot.
My name is Jared Rosado, and this blog serves as a platform to document my professional journey in Information Technology. What began as a childhood fascination with computers and cybersecurity evolved into a purposeful career path shaped by discipline, service, and continuous learning.
My formal introduction to the technical field began during my military service. While serving, I specialized in avionics, completed my bachelor’s degree, and earned several professional certifications. More importantly, I developed a deep appreciation for teamwork, mentorship, and service—values that continue to define my professional approach. I have always believed in learning through experience and sharing knowledge with others to help them grow alongside me.
As I approached the conclusion of my military enlistment, I made the decision to transition into the civilian technology sector. That process required intentional preparation—researching transition programs, refining interview skills, and independently developing technical competencies. The abundance of information available can be overwhelming, and identifying a clear starting point is often one of the most challenging steps.
Through persistence and structured effort, I secured my first role in the aviation industry as a Technology Analyst (Associate Level). Since then, I have connected with many individuals who aspire to transition into technology but feel uncertain about where to begin or hesitant to take the leap.
Cyber-Jot was created to address that gap.
This blog is a professional space where I share insights from my career progression, lessons learned, and practical perspectives on navigating the IT landscape. My goal is to provide clarity, encouragement, and actionable guidance for those considering or pursuing a path in technology.
I invite you to follow along as I document my ongoing growth, experiences, and reflections within the field of Information Technology.
You can connect with me on LinkedIn, and Discord.
